The government is consulting on a proposed cost recovery scheme to fund the new UK domestic nuclear safeguards regulatory regime from April 2022.
It seeks the views of those subject to nuclear safeguards requirements on the government’s intended approach to a cost recovery scheme for the domestic nuclear safeguards regime. It includes both draft nuclear safeguards fees regulations and a draft impact assessment on the anticipated impacts of recovering costs from those affected by the draft fees regulations.
This consultation by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy runs from 15 December 2020 until 9 March 2021.
