Creating a plan to decarbonise transport: call for ideas

The Department of Transport requests ideas about the next steps to reducing emissions in transport and creating a decarbonisation plan ensuring we are net zero in emissions by 2050.

It asks the public about their ideas for:

• the steps it should take to reduce emissions from transport
• creating a plan to ensure the UK transport is net zero in emissions by 2050

This consultation and plan builds from the information in ‘Decarbonising transport: setting the challenge’ released in March 2020.
