Essex is a rural county with 72% of its land area designated as rural.
The Essex Rural Partnership brings together a wide range of organisations from the public, private and voluntary sectors to co-ordinate action on the major challenges facing the county’s rural areas. The Essex Rural Strategy has a four-year time span - it is now time to review and refresh it, ready for a relaunch in 2020.
