This consultation invites businesses and the public to suggest how regulation could be improved.
Good regulation is essential to successful business. The government strives to achieve the right regulatory balance between supporting excellent business practice and protecting workers, consumers and the environment. Regulations related to public safety in buildings have been excluded from the scope of this initiative as the government is delivering a separate programme of improving regulation in these areas.
