In the coming weeks, the proposals for the A120-A133 Link Road will be submitted to Essex Council (as the highways authority).

The planning process will last for 16 weeks and will include a planning consultation allowing all interested parties to give their views.

All of the documents submitted to planning will be available to view and details on where to see these will be provided on the link above once available.

Ahead of this, Essex County Council is showcasing the scheme proposals in a virtual exhibition.

Linking the A120 and A133 aims to enable people to more easily access the A120 and A12, reducing the need to travel directly into Colchester and helping to manage congestion on more local roads.

The Link Road will also play a direct link in helping to unlock land to provide housing, business and leisure space - including the new Tendring Colchester Garden Community.
