The statement brings environmental principles into government policy making, as set out in the Environment Bill.
It asks if the statement provides enough information and guidance for policy makers to apply the principles correctly.Your views will help them to develop the final policy statement and as a result contribute to the protection of the environment.
This consultation by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs runs from 10 March until 2 June 2021.
