Parking Season Ticket Terms and Conditions

Terms and conditions for High Woods Country Park car park digital season ticket holders

IN THIS ARTICLE

  • Where you can park
  • Use of digital season ticket
  • How the car park regulations enforced

Please take the time to read these as they may prevent you from receiving a Penalty Charge Notice for the improper use of a season ticket.

Where you can park

The season ticket enables you to park in the High Woods Country Park car park.

However, the season ticket does not entitle you to park in parking spaces designated for specified users, for example, disabled badge holders. The issue of a season ticket does not carry with it any guarantee a parking space will always be available, and you cannot reserve a space.

On occasion, the North Essex Parking Partnership may suspend the whole or part of a parking place, but this will only be done for specific reasons, for example, car park works. Please ensure your vehicle is not parked in a place where parking has been suspended, as you may be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice.

Use of digital season ticket

A digital season ticket is only valid if:

  • the expiry date has not passed
  • it is used solely for a vehicle registered on the season ticket. The season ticket only covers one vehicle at a time parked within the relevant car park
  • the details of the season ticket are correct when purchased and are amended accordingly prior to parking within the car park

What to do if you change your vehicle

Any amendments to the vehicle registration mark can be done through your MiPermit account. Failure to update your vehicle details may result in a Penalty Charge Notice being issued.

How to renew your season ticket

A renewal notice will be sent to you via email about three weeks before your current season ticket expires. Please pay this as soon as possible to ensure your vehicle is always covered. You are solely responsible for renewing your season ticket before it expires.

How the car park regulations are enforced

The car park regulations are strictly enforced. If a Civil Enforcement Officer comes across a vehicle in a car park, which does not have a valid digital season ticket, a Penalty Charge Notice will be issued, and the driver may be held liable to pay the penalty charge.

Please note the North Essex Parking Partnership may contact you using the details provided to us, including by email. This will be only instances where there is an important update concerning your season ticket.

Season tickets remain the property of the North Essex Parking Partnership.

How to cancel your season ticket

You will be entitled to claim a refund to the value of the time remaining from the date the season ticket is cancelled on your account. You can log onto your MiPermit account to cancel your season ticket, or call MiPermit on 0345 520 7007 for further assistance.
