The Country Park is open seven days a week all year round. It has 17 pedestrian entrances which are never locked.
The Visitor Centre is located at the Turner Road entrance to the park. It provides the base and office for both the Country Park staff and volunteers. It is open to the public 7 days a week in the summer months and weekends only in the winter.

If you enjoy this trail you can come back another season and discover fascinating facts about the wildlife to be found in that season as well. We have 4 trails for you to enjoy: spring, summer, autumn and winter.

The Visitor Centre will be open from the week beginning 24 August 2020. Due to lockdown there will be reduced opening times and menu. The exhibition space will not be in use until further notice.
Public toilets including disabled are attached to the Visitor Centre and are open daily from 9.30am to 4.30pm. Baby changing facilities are available in the disabled toilet.

The following car park charges will apply in the Turner Road Car Park only. Chanterelle Car Park is free of charge.

Disabled badge holders free parking for up to 3 hrs (in marked disabled bays only). Display Blue Badge with Time Clock set on arrival.
