The Country Park is open seven days a week all year round. It has 17 pedestrian entrances which are never locked.

The Visitor Centre is located at the Turner Road entrance to the park. It provides the base and office for both the Country Park staff and volunteers. It is open to the public 7 days a week in the summer months and weekends only in the winter.

Make your visit more enjoyable by downloading our FREE Highwoods Nature Trail app from Google Play.  Follow our 1 mile nature trail, have fun with our with our wildlife quiz and when you find one of the 10 marker points along the way, scan the QR codes to read more about wildlife in the park. If you enjoy this trail you can come back another season and discover fascinating facts about the wildlife to be found in that season as well. We have 4 trails for you to enjoy: spring, summer, autumn and winter.
