How environmentally friendly is the project?
The Heart of Greenstead project is committed to sustainability. Any new buildings will be built using modern construction methods and will include technologies such as solar panels, air and ground source heat pumps.
The project is also being supported by the creation of a ‘liveable neighbourhood’ model for Greenstead. This will explore how funding can be invested into the local area to improve access to active modes of travel like walking and cycling, and public transport.
