How to apply for a job

We recruit for positions at Colchester Borough Council, Colchester Borough Homes and our three commercial companies, Amphora Trading, Amphora Energy and Colchester Amphora Homes.

Each job vacancy provides an overview of the position, an outline of the skills we would like our candidates to have, and a link to apply online.

Only candidates shortlisted for the next stage of our selection process will be contacted. Successful candidates selected for interview will be informed within one month of the closing date.

Applying for a job

You will be asked to either complete an online application form or provide a CV and covering letter. This depends on the vacancy you are applying for, and the job information will include details of which of these two options you can use.
