Since 1 June 2020 Colchester Council had been holding its formal decision-making meetings remotely using the Zoom meeting platform and YouTube, as part of its response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Council’s Governance and Audit Committee undertook a review of remote meetings, including a consultation exercise to gather views.
The findings from the consultation were reported to the Governance and Audit Committee on 20 October 2020.
