Refurbishment work on Vineyard Street lift, which links Vineyard Street car park and the city centre, will start on Friday 10 February and last approximately 8 weeks.
There will not be any disruption to Vineyard Street car park, however those who need the lift to access the city centre can still use the car parks nearby, including Britannia and Priory Street, which offer disabled parking bays.
Vineyard Street car park is open for 24 hours, 7 days a week including public holidays.
The car park has 5 disabled parking bays.
Blue badge holders have free parking for up to 3 hours in any bay, when displaying a Blue Badge with the clock set to the time of arrival.
Parking for motorcyles is free when parked in the dedicated bays.
