On 10 and 11 October, Colchester Castle will open its doors for a unique and spine-tingling journey into the strange and supernatural with “Myth, Magick and Mystery” – a spellbinding event, presented by Colchester Museums and Seventh Sanctum.
Over the course of this two-day event, visitors will explore the mystical, magical and mysterious through a rich programme of experiences. This is the first event of its kind at Colchester Castle, where visitors can tailor their experience to their interests. Visitors can choose and pre-book online a range of additional talks, workshops and activities they’d like to attend. These include, but are not limited to:
- Bookable talks in the Castle’s gaol from expert speakers including:
- After-Hours Investigations at Colchester Castle and Hollytrees Museum with Essex Ghost Hunters and TV’s ‘Help! My House is Haunted’ Team
- Curator-Led Tours revealing secrets of our fascinating Mythical Creatures exhibition and the Castle’s Gaol
- A range of bookable workshops from Norse storytelling to Divination for beginners available throughout the day.
- Top 10 must-have books curated by Red Lion Books
- Esoteric and metaphysical stalls throughout the Castle
- Limited VIP Tickets offering exclusive benefits and access to all areas!
