This September, Leisure World Colchester is inviting the Colchester community to take the plunge with a special offer when you join its Swim School programme.
You can save £15, as we’re waiving the joining fee on all swimming lessons. Whether you're a parent looking for lessons for your child or an adult wanting to build confidence in the water, our Swim England qualified instructors are ready to welcome you.
Our Swim School has lessons for all ages and abilities, so if you are a beginner dipping your toes in for the first time or simply looking to improve your strokes, we've got a class for you. With expert instructors, a supportive environment, and competitive payments by Direct Debit, there's never been a better time to get started.
Children will receive a free-swimming bag, hat and Zogg's googles when they enrol too, to get their swimming journey off to a great start. They will then receive free achievement certificates and reward vouchers as they progress through the programme. You’ll also be able to track their achievements through our online portal.
All swimmers will also be able to swim for free during public sessions in Leisure World’s Fitness Pool to get in the practice they need to develop through the programme's stages.
Cllr Martin Goss, Portfolio Holder for Waste, Neighbourhoods, and Leisure at Colchester City Council, said: “We believe swimming is a lifesaving skill everyone should have access to. Waiving the joining fee this September is our way of making it easier for families and individuals to get started.”
