Warm Home Discount Scheme

You may be eligible to recieve £140 deducted from your electricity bill or a £140 voucher for your prepayment meter.

You can get this under the Warm Home Discount Scheme if you’re either:

on a low income
getting the guarantee credit part of Pension Credit

Scam alert

There are a number of scams in operation relating to energy improvement grants. You will usually receive a call stating they have been instructed by Colchester City Council to conduct surveys on properties to check for energy efficiency improvement grant opportunities. All schemes we run have approved contractors and agents. We do not cold call any resident, the only time a resident will be contacted is if they have made an application directly to us.
