We Are Colchester updates

We Are Colchester will now move into the next phase of the Town Deal.

What happens next

We have until March 2022 to submit detailed business plans for each of the projects, only after this will the government release the money. Engagement is a key requirement of the Town Deal and one We Are Colchester is committed to. Only with the people of Colchester shaping their development will the projects fully succeed.

How to get involved

The We Are Colchester public event planned for Saturday 31 July will be postponed due safety concerns around Covid-19.

The We are Colchester team undertsand the £19.2m Town Deal is going to be an important part of Colchester’s future, and will continue conversations with the community about the projects planned over the next few years.

We will organise public events as soon as safely possible.
