Following a successful Department bid Essex County Council has partnered with SPIN to trial for a maximum of a 12 month period permitting electric scooters to use road spaces restricted for certain vehicle classes and types.
This is to encourage the promotion of alternative travel measures in line with Government guidance in order to ease the burden on the transport network and provide additional capacity.
This consultation by Essex County Council runs from 4 February until 4 August 2021.
