Essex County Council is intending to sell the former Lexden Springs School site. Following its relocation to a nearby site in summer 2019, the former site is vacant and Essex County Council has no further operational use for it.
The consent of the Secretary of State for Education is required under Section 77 of the School and Standards Framework Act 1998 to dispose of the playing field element.
