On Thursday 29 August 2024 there will be a by-election for two vacancies in the office of councillors for West Mersea Town Council.

Nominations
Candidate nomination packs are available from the Electoral Commission.
The window for candidates to submit their nominations will open at 10am on Thursday 25 July with a deadline of 4pm on Thursday 1 August.
Anyone interested in standing as a candidate is encouraged to register their interest by emailing elections@colchester.gov.uk.
Nominations must be submitted by hand and a prior appointment should be arranged.
We suggest a copy of your nomination is emailed to the election office for an informal check before formally handing in any nominations.

Poll cards
West Mersea Town Council have decided not to send poll cards for this election. You do not need a poll card to vote.
