Voting

If you are registered to vote in Great Tey, you will be entitled to vote in the respective neighbourhood planning referendum.

You can register to vote online.

Your ballot paper will ask whether you want Colchester Borough Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area. You will have the option to mark your vote against 'yes' or 'no'. Information and guidance for you as a voter can be found on the Electoral Commission’s website.

If you have registered to vote at your property and have not moved since, you do not need to re-register to vote. If you are unsure if you are registered, you can contact us to check.

Polling Station

The polling station at Great Tey will be Great Tey Village Hall.

Results

The result of the Neighbourhood Plan Referendum will be declared on Friday 20 September.

If more than 50% of the votes cast support the Neighbourhood Plan it will become part of the Development Plan.
