On Thursday 20 February 2025 there will be a by-election for three vacancies in the office of councillor for Dedham Parish Council.

Nominations
Candidate nomination packs for are available from the Electoral Commission.
The window for candidates to submit their nominations will open at 10:00am on Friday 17 January with a deadline of 4pm on Friday 24 January.
Anyone interested in standing as a candidate is encouraged to register their interest by emailing elections@colchester.gov.uk.
Nominations must be submitted by hand and a prior appointment should be arranged.
We suggest a copy of your nomination is emailed to the election office for an informal check before formally handing in any nominations.
Polling station
For this election, all those voting in person will need to vote at the Assembly Rooms, High Street, Dedham, CO7 6HJ.

If you have registered to vote at your property and have not moved since, you do not need to re-register to vote.
