Calendar of support sessions and tutorials

The team are out and about in the community ready to support you in a variety of ways; all for FREE.

You will find them in local community venues, where you drop into them with your queries. These are our community-based activities.

They will also help you gain knowledge and confidence on all things digital, delivering several tutorials and workshops, these are our learning activities, and these places need to be booked in advance.

The learning calendar shows our scheduled events, workshops and tutorials these will develop you basic digital skills within a variety of topics.

Using the calendars

Although at first glance the calendars are a bit small, you can expand them and the info contained within each cell.

• Top left of the calendar there is a button that says ‘Today’
  • Use this to return to today’s page on the calendar.
• Next to today, there are two blue arrows
  • Use these to navigate back and forward through different weeks.
• Next to the arrows is a date – these are the current week you are viewing’s date.
• Next to the date, there is a small black down arrow
  • Use this to populate a full month’s calendar this lets you choose a particular date
• Top right-hand side you have 3 options
  • ‘Week’ - Use this to view the calendar in a weekly view.
  • ‘Month’ - Use this to view the whole months events.
  • Agenda’ - Use this to view a list of upcoming events, that you can scroll through in a list rather than a calendar view.

Attending a free event:

Upon finding any activities of interest, either complete an expression of interest form or open the event in full to reveal more information, this will include a booking form where relevant. (dependent on device to do this, using a mouse or finger, press on the details)

Online Digital Chat & Support Session are held over Zoom and all the information required to join including the link is contained within the calendar activity itself.

All tutorials will contain a brief description, and a link to a booking form that reserves a place on that session, if available.

If you are interested in more than one tutorial complete an expression of interest form and select them accordingly.

Upon receipt of either form, an officer will be in touch with more information, including either confirmation of that booking or alternative dates if it's fully booked.

Please note that the calendar is updated regularly and on occasion, the scheduled activity may change, where possible this will be kept to a minimum and changes will be advertised.
