Important Update: Closure of Digital Access Service 

We’re sad to share that the Northeast Essex Digital Access Services will be closing on 31 March 2026 due to the end of current funding. From December 2025, we’ll be operating a limited service, including some drop-ins and learning programmes. You can find details of these further down this page.  

We’re working to identify alternative digital support options for residents, and we’ll keep you updated. 

If you, or friends and family, need help with digital skills or access, you can visit: 

• Signpost (Colchester and Jaywick) Ltd – Offering free internet access, digital literacy training, and one-to-one tech support in Colchester, Jaywick and Basildon. Learn more  
• Digital Essex (Essex County Council) – Offering workshops, free SIM cards, and device support to help bridge the digital divide. Explore services  
• Frontline - This tool gives you quick access to a wide range of local health and wellbeing services. Download the Frontline App
