The Council is asking all businesses to apply for a business support grant, even if they're not currently eligible, ahead of additional funding. The business support grant application form only needs to be completed once, and we will contact businesses if we need additional information or if they're eligible for grants at a later stage.

The crematorium and cemetery can hold funerals with up to 120 mourners, or less if the congregation wish to socially distance. Those in the chapel must remain seated to avoid crowding, those who cannot be seated should stand outside and alert the funeral directors so the service can be heard through the outside speakers.
Face coverings should be worn in the chapel, waiting room and toilets, the crematorium office and the Book of Remembrance room, unless you are exempt.

Colchester Wedding venues at the Town Hall and Colchester Castle are open for business and events, operating to government guidance including social distancing and reduced capacities until the 19th July 2021 when it is hoped Step 3 restrictions will be lifted.
