Highways England: Notification of A12 roadworks

The work has been scheduled in a way that will reduce the impact on road users at this junction. The work will be done at night between 8.00pm and 6.00am as well as on weekends.

During the hours which works are to be undertaken agreed diversion routes will be signposted. Advance warning signs will also be provided advising of alternative routes prior to the works.

Activities are to be restricted so that at no time will both slip roads be closed simultaneously.

To ensure the safety of the public and workers, a temporary speed limit of 40mph is going to be applied during the contract period.
