Temporary travel restrictions and road closures

The international cycling event begins at Colchester Sports Park, off junction 28 of the A12. The 142 kilometres (88.2 miles) route passes through Colchester High Street and heads south towards Layer-de-la-Haye, Abberton, and back through Old Heath and Greenstead. The race then proceeds towards Manningtree and on to Suffolk towards the finish line in Bury St Edmunds.
 
There will be temporary closures in the borough from 10.45am until the race has left Colchester which may impact your travel plans.
