There are many walking routes in and around the Colchester area from historical walks to woodland walks.

Walk Colchester
Walk Colchester was set up in 2010 with the aim to:
- promote and facilitate safe and enjoyable walking
- provide information about and facilitate walking access
- take a more inclusive approach to map paths and trails
- help everyone protect our green open spaces
Colchester Orbital interactive map
The Colchester Orbital link up some of the best green spaces in the borough. Their interactive map shows you all the walking routes and easier access walks around the Orbital.
The map is mobile-friendly and provides additional information on the environment, community and culture, green projects, activities and sports, and transport such as bus stops and timetables.
