Purpose for processing

The Council has a requirement to process the above information for the investigation of complaints under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and other legislation and regulations such as HASAWA – safe systems of work. We only request the minimum amount of information and ensure that is it stored securely in Civica (our preferred IT software management system).

Length of time we keep your information

We will keep the information you supply for an Environmental Permit indefinitely or until a license has been revoked (if applicable). In terms of Environmental Protection we currently have files dating back to 2001.
