What you need
Before You Submit Your Application
Before submitting your application, make sure you have met all the necessary requirements for your application type. You can check the Local Validation List and the National Validation List for details.
We encourage you to seek pre-application advice or enter into a Planning Performance Agreement (PPA). Without a PPA, we will not provide progress updates or respond to third-party representations.
Application Requirements
Your plans and reports must be accurate, appropriately detailed, and up to date. Plans should be to scale, and any specialist reports should be prepared by a qualified professional, such as a member of a relevant institute. The certificate of ownership must be correct, as errors could invalidate your decision. The level of supporting information should match the scale and complexity of your project.
Important Information
Missing or incorrect information can lead to delays or refusal. Once submitted, we will not negotiate major changes to your application. You should only contact us if a case officer requests further details. To avoid unnecessary costs, we strongly recommend seeking advice before submitting your application.
