Housing Benefits

If you are in receipt of Housing Benefit and/or Local Council Tax Support from Colchester Borough Council then you are able to:

  • Register for an account and receive E-notifications

As a person in receipt of either of these benefits you will need to register for an online account in order to ‘go paperless’.

Once registered you will be able to view your awards and payments and will receive an email alert to notify you of any changes to these. This email will contain a link that you can follow to log into your account and view these changes.

If you have an online account but have not activated E-notifications then please click here. You will need to log on to your account and request this. If assistance is needed then please contact our Customer Online Accounts team at go-paperless@colchester.gov.uk or call 01206 282750.

Please note that this online account can also be used to view your Council Tax Bills (E-billing).
