72–86 Military Road Affordable Housing Development Consultation
Colchester City Council is inviting residents to have their say on plans for a new affordable housing development at 72–86 Military Road.
Planning permission was previously granted for two blocks of one- and two-bedroom apartments on this site, totalling 55 homes. We have now updated these plans and aim to deliver 28 affordable homes that better meet Colchester’s housing needs. This revised proposal focuses on family homes, including wheelchair-accessible properties, alongside one- and two-bedroom homes that may suit existing tenants looking to downsize.
Affordable Homes include homes for rent that are cheaper than private rent and homes for sale at a discount, for first time buyers.
Join Our Q&A Event
We will be hosting an in-person Question and Answer session at Worsnop House, Old Heath Road, Colchester, CO1 2ES on 13 January, 4pm–6pm.
