The sculpture, made from over 100,000 seized blades, was created to highlight the negative effects of violent behaviour whilst solidifying our critical need for social change. Not only does the Knife Angel act as a catalyst for turning the tide on violent and aggressive behaviour, but it also acts as a memorial to those who have lost their lives through knife crime.
“If we were asked what makes us most proud about what has been achieved across the UK it would be the 100,000 plus Youth Ambassadors pledging to influence their communities in rejecting violence.”
-Clive Knowles (British Ironworks)
