Colchester City Council is providing support for residents facing the cost of living crisis.

Our senior management team is responsible for the overall running of the organisation; its achievements against objectives and plans; its performance against targets, the efficient use of resources and the effective delivery of services.

In addition, the senior management team works with its Councillors and Administration in seeking inward investment to Colchester, uses its own assets for further development; and shapes the borough for the benefit of residents, businesses and visitors to improve the qualify of life for all.

The senior managers listed under Assistant Directors have full responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of services, the implementation of plans, and the management of staff. Budgets for the Council and individual services are shown in the Statement of Accounts, along with the number of staff employed
