The Colchester Town Watch

The Town Watch provides the Town with a ceremonial bodyguard for the Mayor for civil and social occasions.

Friends of the Moot Hall organ

The aim of the 'Friends of the Moot Hall Organ' is to bring back into use the Edwardian organ in the Moot Hall at Colchester's Town Hall.

The Colchester and North East Essex Building Preservation Trust

Guided tours of the Town Hall

The Town Hall is open for members of the public to look around or if you would like arrange a group tour of Town Hall with a Blue Badge Guide please contact the the Town Serjeant on 01206 282205 or paul.lind@colchester.gov.uk

The building is also open on National Heritage Open Days

Rooms are also available for private hire for weddings, receptions and corporate hire.

 

The Colchester Town Hall guide book

Town Hall Guide books are available to buy for £3.00 each, they can be purchased from the Town Hall or Visitor Information Centre.

If you would like to order a Town Hall Guide book please send us your name and address and a cheque for £3.00 made payable to "Colchester Borough Council" at the address below.  Your book will then be sent by first class post.
