Do I need a House to House Collection Licence?

If you intend to carry out house-to-house collections for charitable purposes you will require a licence from us. The House to House Collections Act 1939 requires that a permit is obtained to collect money or articles for charitable purposes on a door to door basis.

Yes.  If we do not respond to an application within the required time (shown above) or following an extension, the authorisation will be deemed to have been granted tacitly, unless different arrangements are in place that are justified in the public interest
