Between the 30th of April and the 10th of June 2018 the Council is consulting on a proposed new conservation area between Maldon Road and Butt Road, Colchester.
The Council's Planning Policy Service has recently undertaken a series of field studies to inform consideration of creating a new conservation. The aim of such an analysis is to consider the following:-
The subsequent analysis is described in a Draft Appraisal and Management Proposals document the content of which was approved by the Council's Local Plan Committee on 19th March 2018 for Public Consultation.
