With Halloween just around the corner, Colchester Castle is ready to cast a spell on visitors with an array of exciting activities and events designed to entertain the whole family from the 21-31 October. So, get your costumes ready and prepare for a thrill-filled adventure at Europe’s largest Norman Keep. 
Here's a sneak peek of some of what's in store:

Free Entry for Children in Crazy Costumes! (23-27 October):
Calling all little ghouls and witches! Dress up in your spookiest costumes and enjoy FREE entry when accompanied by a paying adult. A fantastic opportunity for families to create unforgettable memories and immerse themselves in the Halloween spirit.

Halloween Party (evening of 28 October):
Brace yourself for a Halloween party evening that promises delightful frights and eerie delights! Experience a spine-tingling atmosphere as Colchester Castle comes alive with special activities and surprises. It's an event not to be missed! Children can collect a goody bag treat as well as enjoying a mocktail! 

Creepy Castle Trail (21-29 October):
Follow the creepy trails that wind through the castle displays, you never know what you might discover! This spine-chilling adventure is perfect for those seeking an extra dose of Halloween excitement, clipboards at the ready!

Family Tours (23-27 October):
Uncover the haunting secrets of Colchester Castle on a guided tour, tailored for families. Delve into the castle's rich history and mysteries as you explore its hidden corners. It’s an immersive experience that will captivate both young and old.

Knightzzz at the Museum (21 October):
For the bravest and most fearless families, we invite you to spend a night at the museum on the 21 October. Uncover the mysteries lurking within the castle walls as you endure a night at the museum. Are you up for the challenge?

Gallery Game Time (23-27 October):
During your visit to Colchester Castle, you'll discover fun games dotted throughout the museum. Take a break, have a game or two and then continue your journey through time with the Castle's treasures and displays!

Wicked Spirits Dark Tours (25,26,30 October):
Enjoy a tour of the Castle with a darker side. Inspired by last summer’s blockbuster Wicked Spirits exhibition this tour is packed full of facts, perfect for Halloween.

Wicked Spirits Legacy Talks (27 October):
Join us for an evening revisiting last summer's blockbuster exhibition,
Wicked Spirits? Witchcraft + Magic at Colchester Castle. Learn more about early witchcraft and witchcraft from the 1600’s to the present day with our two guest speakers, Ben Paites and Biancha-Jo Dryburgh.
