Colchester Sports Park at Northern Gateway has retained its Quest Accredited site status, following an external audit this summer.
Quest is the sport and leisure industry's only recognised Quality Assurance Tool, recommended by Sport England for facility management, sports development and physical activity, and is designed to measure how effective organisations are at providing high-quality services.
As a new facility, Colchester Sports Park undertook the Quest Entry Assessment in 2022. The follow up annual audit took place in August 2023, with the Sports Park now on the Quest 7 band grading system, achieving an audit rating of Very Good.
The report from the assessment particularly highlighted the excellent and knowledgeable customer service provided and the high quality and accessible facilities on site.

“As one of Colchester’s newest state-of-the-art sport and leisure facilities, the aim has always been to provide amazing services and facilities to visitors, and it’s great to see this recognised in this way.”
