Leisure World Colchester has signed up to Swim England’s School Swimming and Water Safety Charter.

The School Swimming Charter highlights Leisure World’s commitment to teach children how to swim and how to be safe in and around water.

Cllr Theresa Higgins, Colchester Borough Council Portfolio Holder for Commercial Services, said: “Learning to swim is an important life skill. It is now becoming compulsory for Primary Schools to ensure every child knows how to swim. Swim England’s School Swimming Charter emphasizes Leisure World’s commitment to take School Swimming seriously.

“I would encourage anyone interested in enrolling for swimming lessons, whether for a child or adult, to speak with Leisure World’s friendly Welcome Zone team for more details.”

Leisure World provides a range of swimming sessions for children and adults, from age 4-months, to help everyone become accomplished swimmers.
