Temporary High Woods Country Park car park closures

PUBLISHED: 7 November 2019

Date issued: 7 November 2019

Due to resurfacing works, High Woods Country Park Car Park will be closed on 12 and 13 November and Chanterelle Car Park will be closed on 14 November.

On 12 and 13 November, alternative parking for Highwoods Country Park will be available in nearby Chanterelle Car Park free of charge, and on 14 November, Highwoods Country Park Car Park will be reopened and available for use.

Cllr Mark Cory, Leader of Colchester Borough Council, said: “These resurfacing works are an essential part of our car park maintenance and can only take place when the car parks are empty. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes but by closing the two car parks on different days, parking provision for the Park will be available on all three days.”
