The finalists for the PATROL (Parking and Traffic Regulations Outside London) Parking Annual Reports Awards have been announced and the North Essex Parking Partnership (NEPP) has been shortlisted as a contender for its 2017/18 Annual Report.
As a multi-award-winning organisation, which has recently won three British Parking Awards and previously been shortlisted for this award, NEPP is keen to show the judges another successful area of its organisation.
As founding members of the Positive Parking Agenda which aims to build public confidence in the parking sector by changing perceptions, challenging misconceptions about the parking sector, and to make the parking experience better for all, NEPP has changed its approach to Annual Reports in recent years.
Not only are the reports now digital by default and produced in a magazine-style format, but they are also designed to be more accessible, transparent, readable and visually appealing for readers.
The 2017/18 Annual Report is available to view on the NEPP’s website.
Councillor Robert Mitchell, Deputy Cabinet Member for Highways at Essex County Council and Chairman of On-Street Parking at North Essex Parking Partnership, said: “I’m delighted that the Partnership’s Annual Report has been shortlisted for this national award. The Partnership is committed to communicating information in a clear and engaging way and being finalists for this award is a great acknowledgement of that.”
The PARC Awards recognise Annual Reports on local authority parking services and traffic management, together with the civil enforcement approaches that are applied. The awards form part of PATROL’s commitment to promoting best practice in the dissemination of public information on civil enforcement to increase understanding of traffic management objectives.
The PATROL PARC Award winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on 16 July 2019 at the House of Commons.
