Priory access gate at Priory Street to be repaired

PUBLISHED: 4 March 2019

Date issued: 4 March 2019

The gate giving access to St Botolph’s Priory on Priory Street is to undergo a replacement between 6-12 March, following vehicle damage that took place in autumn 2018.

The replacement of the gate and necessary wall repairs means that access to St Botolph’s Priory from Priory Street will be closed for the duration of the works.

The Priory itself will remain open during this time and diversions will be in place for pedestrians.

Access to the Priory from the Town Centre will be via Queen Street, Church Walk and the gate next to St Botolph’s Church.

Access to Priory Street will be reopened on the morning of 13 March 2019.
