Lift to close for repairs

The lift in Vineyard Street, Colchester, will be closed and unavailable for public use on Tuesday 9 July, whilst repairs to the hydraulic system are carried out.

Councillor Martin Goss, Portfolio Holder for Waste, Environment and Transportation, said: “It’s important that these works are carried out and we’re keeping the closure as short as possible. I'd ask anyone that uses this lift to plan ahead and make alternative arrangements for this day.”
