Leisure World Colchester, a Swim England accredited swim school, is delighted to announce two of its young swim school members have won an exclusive two-night family glamping holiday, in its latest swimming lesson enrolment competition.

Millie and Scarlett are enthusiastic learners who take part in swimming lessons every week at Leisure World Colchester – mastering the essential life skills of swimming and water safety.

Leisure World Colchester offers weekly swimming lessons that let children progress through proficiency levels designed to grow a child’s water confidence and swimming skills with a fun reward programme that engages and praises its pupils.

The centre has been teaching local children to swim for over 40 years, through a mixture of private and group lessons as well as welcoming many local school groups to its facility. Armed with enthusiastic, qualified instructors, lessons are fun, engaging and most importantly are equipping local children with valuable lifesaving skills.

Councillor Cllr Michelle Burrows, Portfolio Holder for Leisure, Culture and Heritage, said: I am thrilled to announce the winners of this fabulous prize and hope that the families have a truly incredible experience. Water safety and education is a vital life skill for children and one the team are passionate about. Leisure World Colchester will continue to work with the local community by teaching its children to swim, equipping them with vital skills for the future and promoting exercise as part of a healthy lifestyle.”

Each term those who enrol on to the Swim England Accredited lessons will have the chance to win some great prizes, with winners chosen at random.
