Visit Colchester launches 2022 visitor guides

PUBLISHED: 18 January 2022

Visit Colchester is ready to welcome visitors to Colchester with the launch of its new 2022 Visitor Guide and Mini Guide (including free town centre map).

The comprehensive 44-page Visitor Guide, together with the smaller Discover Mini Guide, provides potential visitors with a wealth of information about Colchester and its wider beautiful borough.

Whether choosing to come for a day trip or for an extended stay, potential visitors will be able to find what they need from the guides before and during their visit to Britain’s historic First City.

Across Colchester’s Beautiful Borough, they will find stunning coastlines and vistas, riverside locations, picturesque villages and plenty of sprawling countryside, even an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Tourist information can also be found at www.visitcolchester.com, which is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. However, personal help and advice can always be found by contacting the Visitor Information Centre team via telephone, email or social media. How better to plan a trip, than by tapping into the team’s vast wealth of local knowledge, from things to see and do, what’s on, guided tours, where to stay, where to eat, and travel information.

Visitors can request a copy of the guides by contacting the Visitor Information team online, through social media or by telephone. Alternatively, copies can be collected from the Visitor Information Centre based in Hollytrees Museum, Castle Park.

We invite you to come and discover Colchester, Britain’s First City in 2022.
