Councillor Julie Young, Portfolio Holder for Culture and Performance and Deputy Leader of the Council, said: “Colchester is a treasure trove packed with many things to see and do. From our bustling town centre with historical treasures to discover, independent shops and big-name retailers, to our stunning coast and countryside, there is something to suit all ages and tastes.
Our new guides can be collected free of charge from the Visitor Information Centre (based at Hollytrees Museum), ordered online ahead of a visit via the Visit Colchester website and picked up across the country through the Tourist Information Centre network and other distribution points. We hope that everyone finds them useful and look forward to welcoming many new visitors to the town in 2020.”
