Top comedy at Charter Hall for 2019

Colchester Events Company is bringing the laughs to Colchester’s Charter Hall in 2019, with some of the biggest names in comedy lined up to entertain anticipated sell-out crowds!

Showcasing acts to satisfy all comedy tastes, the 2019 line-up includes jesting genius Jimmy Carr, ‘German Comedy Ambassador’ Henning Wehn, ‘Muddle Class’ legend Jason Manford, the godfather of modern stand-up Ben Elton, ‘Guilty Feminist’ Deborah Frances-White, news reporter with a scathing twist Jonathan Pie, and the king of observational comedy Ed Byrne.

There are also two further dates confirmed for the ever-popular Comedy Store.

Commenting on the exciting comedy line-up, Cllr Mark Cory, Leader of Colchester Borough Council, said: “Each year the programme of events at Charter Hall continues to grow in size and profile. I am delighted that so many popular and well-known comedians are visiting Colchester in 2019 and will look forward to attending a few shows myself!’
