Cost of living support
Colchester City Council is providing support for residents facing the cost of living crisis.
Date issued: 27 June 2019
The school summer holidays are just around the corner and for anyone looking for fun, outdoor activities to keep the kids amused during the holidays, Colchester’s parks are holding events on 21 and 31 July.
Further details of these events, including dates, timings, locations, booking details and costs can be found at www.colchester.gov.uk/parkevents.
Councillor Martin Goss, Portfolio Holder for Waste, Environment and Transportation, said: “These events are a great way for kids to actively learn about local nature and the environment, whilst having fun at the same time.
“Park events are very popular, and I would encourage anyone who’d like to attend bookable events, to secure their places as soon as possible.”
Tickets for bookable events can only be purchased through the Visitor Information Centre in Hollytrees Museum, in person at Hollytrees Museum, Castle Park, CO1 1UG or by telephone on 01206 282920, purchases cannot be made at the events.
