Colchester Museums have some exciting news: The town’s popular Natural History Museum will be the subject of a redevelopment programme over the next few years, and they want to hear from you.
The Natural History Museum is an incredibly popular FREE museum with young families and visitors providing a place of tranquillity in a busy town centre. Offering exhibits focusing on the habitats and species of the local area, events, including preschool storytelling sessions and popular animal encounter days and everyone’s favourite the gift shop, the former All Saints Church is always buzzing with the sound of happy visitors.
Colchester Museums are keen to consult with the public to find out what they think of the museum now and how they think it could be improved for future generations to enjoy. They want to hear from as many people as possible. So, it doesn’t matter if you haven’t visited for a while, never visited, or are indeed a regular visitor, your views matter. You could even win a Family Guardian membership to Colchester Castle and escape experience worth £120 just for taking part.

Your views will help shape and develop this amazing museum for future generations to enjoy. Taking part in the survey will only take 5-10 minutes and your views will be so valuable to the team. Let's work together to produce a museum for the future that’s relevant to our future generations and helps to educate young people about the natural world and the challenges it will face.”
