Braintree District Council, Colchester Borough Council and Tendring District Council (the North Essex Authorities) have prepared and submitted for examination a draft shared strategic Section 1 of their Local Plans to comprehensively plan for the future of North Essex. The North Essex Authorities have agreed that the draft shared strategic Section 1 should continue with main modifications as suggested by the Inspector as per section 20 (7(c)) of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.
